Don’t Miss the Cinco De Mayo Festival on May 7th
La Vie is a highly desired dinner spot any day of the year, but on Saturday, May 7th it’s hosting a fun mixer in honor of Cinco De Mayo! Celebrate the holiday a few days late at the Cinco De Mayo Festival from 8 to 11 p.m. at the upscale restaurant overlooking The Wharf. All you need is a free spirit and a ticket ($55 per person, advanced purchase required).
Feel free to fly solo or bring along a group of friends for the event! You’re encouraged to dress in traditional Mexican apparel if you like, from sombreros to Baja jackets. After checking in at the door, sit down for a Cerveza or a margarita. Admission includes one drink ticket, but the cash bar will be open all evening long! You’ll begin seated with five other folks, perhaps the people you come with or maybe new friends, but as the evening goes on the hosts will have you rotate so that you can meet everyone there. About halfway through the night, everyone will get out of their seats to learn salsa, bachata, kizomba, and cha-cha routines—so make sure you’ve had enough to eat and drink before the dancing begins!
